The useful way to read this toner is as a water-rich layer with dissolved humectants. Its declared formula has no obvious oil or wax phase. Panthenol, glycerin and glycols can help retain water, while the hyaluronic-acid family can contribute hydration and surface feel. Five names do not tell us their combined dose, molecular-weight distribution or performance relative to one well-formulated humectant.

We could verify the abstract, not the complete study protocol; participant count, dose, vehicle and detailed funding were not established from that record. It supports further interest in the molecule, not an acne-treatment promise for this toner. Green tea water at 3% is not EGCG at 3%.
